As a self-proclaimed “recovering engineer,” I have focused my training and consulting practice solely on applied Emotional Intelligence skill-building development since 1995. Facilitating more than 50 workshops and giving more than 200 presentations on the subject in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Australia, I deliver leading-edge technology developed by a non-profit institute. The Institute has been featured on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” “Peter Jennings’ World news Tonight,” CNN, A & E, and “Inside Edition.” In addition to being featured in the Harvard Business Review, the Institute is published in such peer review journals as the American Journal of Cardiology, the Journal for the Advancement in Medicine and Stress Medicine. I am published on the subject of Emotional Intelligence in Corporate Board magazine, Global CEO, Performance Improvement, and recently released my emotional intelligence book, SMART EMOTIONS for Busy Business People.
I have worked in Manufacturing Engineering, R & E, Human Resources, Educational Development, and Executive Development. Clients include McDonald’s, Herman Miller, Con-Way Transportation Systems, GE, Whirlpool, BellSouth, Motorola, The United States Postal Service, Rockwell Automation, and others.
