Staff Training
HeartMath® training was provided to key administrative leaders, school staff and Human Resources. Twenty (20) members of the Cabinet and Administrative Staff and ninety (90) Human Relations Representatives from across the district participated in an Inner Quality Management® training. A statistical analysis was commissioned by the Associate Superintendent to quantify the value of the trainings: value related to work and life - 98.8% to 100%; value of application of job challenges - 85% to 95.4%; value as a means to conflict resolution - 84.2% to 94.5%; value of recommending the training to other educators - 85.5% to 92.1%. Dr. Eugene Walker's conclusion: "HeartMath's programs help people reduce stress and conflict, enhance their performance, skills and sensitivity, and find balance in their personal and professional lives. This work had very significant value to a broad spectrum of the district's personnel. I have no hesitation in commending the integrity or effectiveness of the work."
